This porcelain charger or platter was produced in Germany by Donath Dresden before 1920. It has a diameter of 12 1/4 inches. The charger is beautifully hand painted in the Meissen style. There is a bouquet of realistic flowers rendered in vivid colors. Lacy gilding trims the rim. Condition: Excellent. This is a splendid charger for use or decoration.

These 6 porcelain demitasse cups and saucer were produced in Germany by the Royal Berlin Porcelain Manufactory in 1918. The saucers have a diameter of 4 1/2 inches and the cups are 1 5/8 inches high. The clean lines of the cup and saucer accentuate the fine quality porcelain. Each one is individually hand painted with vividly colored flowers. There is gold trim on the rims and handles. The piece is signed by Karl Himmelstoss, a modeler who specialized in traditional subject matter. The group measures 9 ½ inches high, 9 inches long and 5 inches wide. The piece weighs over 5 pounds unwrapped. Two women and child from the Spreewald region of Germany, outside of Berlin engage in some juicy gossip...

Porcelain beaker decorated in transfer and polychrome enamels with scenes from Boston. The scenes include Faneuil Hall, Bunker Hill Monument, and Old State House. These glasses were made in Bohemia and Germany from the 1890's until World War I. We are also offering similar glasses featuring Mackinac Island, St. Louis and Cincinnati.

This porcelain match holder was produced in Germany before 1920. There is no maker's mark on the bottom, only impressed numbers. We think it may have been produced by Schaffer & Vater. Heubach also produced similar types of jasperware. The match holder is pierced to be mounted on the wall. The decoration is white slip over light green ground in a Wedgwood style decoration. The front of the holder has two of the cutest little winged fairies kissing...

A Royal Bayreuth village scene with birds creamer and sugar. This 3-5/8" tall porcelain lidded sugar bowl and matching 2-7/8" high creamer were made by Royal Bayreuth, Bavaria (Germany) c1910-20. The creamer depicts a lady tending geese in front of a village scene with two geese on the back; the sugar bowl shows a gentleman tending turkeys with a village scene with turkey hens on the back. each piece is tgrimmed in gold and they have the Bayreuth mark plus a 22 pattern mark...

This porcelain plate was produced in Germany by Meissen before 1920. The diameter of the plate is 10 inches. The plate has a scalloped rim and a deep well. It has the most excellent flower painting. The flowers are bright and realistic. There is a cobalt blue border and fancy gold trim accenting it. The foot ring on the back of the plate has two very minor chips. This plate is first quality and has no other defects.

The bowl measures 11 1/2 inches in diameter and 6 1/4 inches high. It has a wonderful shape, not round but blown out in four corners, although the bowl is basically round. It stands on an impressive pedestal base. The body of the bowl is hand cut with a basket reticulation...

Niki is incised on the front of the base. This piece is pictured on the cover of “Nymphenburger Moderne” by Alfred Ziffer. It measures 12 1/2 inches tall, 9 inches long and 7 inches deep.
