A SEVRES PARASOL HANDLE WITH 18KT RING DECORATION
This stunning ladies parasol handle dates to ca1880 and is in very good condition, with one tiny whisker chip on the socket end of the handle. It is unmarked as is typical with Sevres parasol handles and is embellished with an 18kt ring at the top of the handle. It measures 6" in length x 1.5" at its widest point.

It dates to c1790 and has gorgeous images after Angelika Kaufmann painted on its body with the Kaufmann signature intact. It measures 10" in height and is quite the beautiful thing. An oversized plate (10 ½ inches (26.7 cm) diameter) with a hand painted bouquet of petunias in the center, surrounded by a thick gilt band and the elaborately molded lip with the molding picked out in gold. The printed blue KPM mark on the bottom was used during the years 1847 to 1849. There is also an incised Roman numeral four and possibly the number 14.
