Fabulous figural silverplated shellfish server. Of the highest quality, this piece is formed as two mussel shells flanking an oyster shell, with a double strap handle reminiscent of seaweed. The bottom is marked with a "N & W" hallmark, along with the pattern number "424" and the registry number "333221" indicating a date of 1899.

A Green Ivory Handled Georgian Silver Fruit Fork (6.25") and Knife (6.5"). Hallmarked Sheffield, 1823. No makers mark. In by case Robert Rait, 261 Broadway; 1833-1866. Dimensions; Fork, 6.25:, Knife, 6.5". Very good condition, nominal wear on knife blade.

Very rare heart shaped gilt bronze-mounted dresser tray with handmade lace insert. This is the only heart-shaped dresser tray I've ever seen. Marked on the bottom "France."

Origin: France, ca. 1900. Condition: excellent, but could use some cleaning. Size: 10-3/4" x 8-1/2" x 1".

Lovely set of 12 sterling silver cocktail or seafood forks by Davis & Galt. The handles are heavily decorated with an unusual repousse paisley pattern. The workmanship is very nice. The backs are hallmarked by the maker and have the retailer’s mark for Bailey, Banks & Biddle.

A Victorian Silver Plate Partners Inkstand or Standish; with Two Lidded Ink Bottles and a Central Ponce Pot Covered with a Taperstick. From London circa 1850's. Dimensions; 7.75" wide x 5" deep x 4.5" high. It has a descriptive label, with original misspelling (see picture). Some wear, but excellent condition.

An elegant late Victorian jewelry box in the Louis XVI style. The sides and lid are decorated with delicate raised birds and floral sprays against a stippled background. Engraved volutes at the corners accent the main decoration. The edges are decorated in a typical French bound reed design. The whole is raised on turned feet. The brass plating is beautifully patinated to a lustrous sheen.

Here’s to a good round of golf and a fine cigar...case! This antique sterling silver cigar holder tube will keep that smoke fresh and secure, having an engine-turned design and slide off cap. Stamped 925 and Makers Mark and Anchor on tube and inside cap. Measures 7 1/4" long. Very good condition with minor depressions near tip. Wt. 67.7g. A class act on the course or with friends.

A Gorham Sterling Silver Berry or Serving Spoon in the "Raphael" pattern, patented 1874 and dated from shortly after. It is 8" in length with an oval bowl of 3.5" x 2.5". There is an elaborate monogram on the handle, matching item #534 (see picture) and the condition is excellent.

An interesting antique bronze figure, Roman style, possible after antiquity, likely 19th. century AD.

A good bronze, likely of the god Herculas (now missing the club), with fine patina and mounted by way of a brass pin. The mounting is old and the collection whence it came is old too.

We're not certain about the age of this piece so we're selling it as antique but not as ancient.

Lovely round tray with raised grapes surrounding the edges and on the handles. It has a 15" diameter and is in excellent condition. It is marked on the bottom with hallmarks, the name Crescent, and the number 1097.

Circa 1880 French bronze champleve enamel inkwell with delicately hand-painted bird scenes. It sits on 4 bun feet and is in excellent condition. All enameling is intact with the darkest red color being a beautiful clear wine red (which tends to look a darker/duller in our photos). This lovely inkwell measures 7 inches across and 3" high.

A large and elegant European silver goblet of modern design by Wilhelm Binder of Schwabisch Gmund (Germany), established in 1869. This goblet apparently dates c1900-10. It measures 8-3/4" (24cm) in height, and measures 4-1/4" (just under 11 cm) across the rim. It weighs approximately 227 grams. It is stamped with the German post-1886 crescent moon and crown mark, 835 WTB and has a company number of 73123 and a small punch mark we could not make out...

A sterling silver soup ladle by the noted New York silversmith, John Polhamus, in the King's pattern (double struck). Circa 1860s. Length: 12.5 in. Engraved H.S. in a Gothic script on handle. Struck with J. Polhamus mark and 'sterling'. Nice original condition.

Pair of English brass Georgian telescopic ejector candlesticks, c.1800. Size: 6.75" - 9.25" height x 3.5" x 3.5". Condition: Some tiny stress cracks to the top of the lower section of one candlestick (see photos detail). Also, one stick requires extra effort to get it to remain in the fully extended position and probably required some sort of new dampening material to keep it in place.

An elegant LONDON Victorian heavy/solid Sterling Silver Soup Ladle, Shell pattern. With hallmark/markings, maker is Chawner & Co. (George William Adams), Hosier Lane, Smithfiled, LONDON, 1840-1882. L. 13.5", Bowl W. 3.5" Condition: good overall, some signs of usage on right side of bowl and resting spot on back side of handle. Weight: 352 gr.

Very fine ornate sterling silver server for either fish or ice cream. The handle is covered with a pattern of hibiscus flowers and swirling foliage. The floral element is echoed in the beautifully engraved floral pattern on the blade. The blade is finished off with a very ornate outline. Many American silversmiths did not mark their names until the early 20th century, and the back is marked only "Sterling."

Elegant Edwardian cranberry glass vase with pierced sterling silver mounts by Galt & Bro. The piercings are fan-shaped and the rim has a bound reed motif. The cranberry glass insert flares slightly toward the upper rim and is accented with simple cutting. The base is marked "Galt & Bro." (Washington, DC, 1892-1934).

Origin: America, ca 1910. Condition: excellent, no dings, chips or cracks. Size: 8" tall.

A handsome Victorian bronze pen tray with a native American motif. One end of the tray has a very detailed representation of an Indian wearing a feathered headdress and various jewelry. The tray itself has a wonderful relief scene depicting an encampment. A group of warriors are gathered around a fire smoking a pipe and wearing feathered bonnets and loincloths. Teepees are in the background, along with a number of palm trees...
