A handsome Imperial Russian medium-size hammered brass oval tray with cast brass handles. A tray of this size would probably have been used to serve vodka, and could still be used as a cordial tray or even on a buffet table. One end is stamped with the maker’s name and the Imperial Romanov double eagle warrant. The handles are attached with copper rivets and are cast in a ropetwist design.

A lovely set of six sterling silver strawberry forks in Lunt’s 1893 “Navarre” pattern. This pattern was actually developed by A. F. Towle & Sons, which eventually was purchased by Lunt Silversmiths. The handles are beautifully decorated in an asymmetric pattern of volutes, acanthus leaves and flowers. The slightly splayed double tines retain their original matte gilding. The backs are marked with the A.F. Towle hallmark and the retailer’s mark “G. Frank”.

A wonderful set of 10 sterling silver egg spoons in Tiffany’s rare 1872 “Vine” pattern in the “Wild Rose” variant. “Vine” was made in several variations, all of which depicted flowers and fruit that grown on vines. Elegant, well crafted Gorham footed centerpiece bowl with applied handles. The interior of the bowl is gilded. The handles have a petal motif with a bead at each tip. The centerpiece measures 7" high by 11" wide including the handles. Without the handles, it is 5 3/8" high and has a diameter of 9". There is a unique and beautiful monogram at the bottom. Marks on the base are a lion, anchor, "G" and 310. The marks indicate coin silver from 1863-1865. The piece is in excellent condition.

Rare and exquisite footed, fluted, pierced and engraved sterling Gorham bowl with gilded interior. This gorgeous bowl has it all and makes a beautiful centerpiece. It measures 10 1/2"long by 7" wide and is 3 1/4" deep. The bottom is engraved 1898, but the marks indicate it was made in 1891. Outstanding brass match holder the pocket formed in the shape of a shield and punch-decorated in a stars and stripes pattern. The pocket is surmounted by a punch-decorated American eagle underneath the motto “In God We Trust”. A very nice sterling silver pincushion and sewing box by Tiffany & Co. The pierced sterling silver walls enclose a sewing box (or jewelry box) with two hinged tops that serve as pincushions. The current dark purple velvet is a replacement, but is placed over the original box structure. The pierced handle has an area that can be monogrammed (never been monogrammed). This tureen holds 4 quarts of liquid. It was made by the Meridan Britannia Company in 1886-1887.

All of the plating is still original. There is however, a few spots where, as shown in my picture, there is some loss of silver. A magnificent addition to any silver collection. The collar is 7/8" in diameter and is wonderfully chased.

This tureen measures 9 1/2" tall x 13 1/2" long (including handles) x 9" wide.

The original quadruple silver plate has achieved a warm, soft patina...

The stand and kettle have the #2104 marked on the bottom.

The swing handle has the initial FWC engraved.

My picture #4 shows the only place where where I see any wear.

The pin for the hinge on the wick cover needs to be replaced.

It is in spectacular shape for its age.
