A magnificently designed German silver tea caddy of bombe form with a lion finial. The details of the vignettes depicted in relief on each side are spectacular, framed as they are with detailed flowers, crescents and swags. Even the cover tells its own story. The base is slightly arched all around.

The condition is excellent with a light layer of blackening.
