Offered is this beautiful antique French clock, with clock-works by S. Marti and statue made by L & F Moreau. The clock is 21 inches (53,5 cm) tall. Except for the pinky-finger on one hand of the spelter statue missing (see last picture), the clock is in good condition. There is no pendulum or key, but the pendulum-ticker ticks fine - so, perhaps the clock works fine.

Beautifully interpreted Art Nouveau design. A Mucha-inspired figural maiden with flowing hair upholds a corner of her gown as it undulates about the perimeter of the tray. Pendant irises in relief are further enhanced by cast and applied flowers and fronds in high relief. Made by the famous WMF (Wurttembergische Metallwarenfabrik) workshop in Germany circa 1900.
