Outstanding pair of early American coin silver sugar tongs. The arms are cut in a modified fiddle shape and are decorated with superb applied fruit baskets. The claws are shaped as scallop shells. The end has a period monogram “BC”. These are undoubtedly the finest coin silver sugar tongs we’ve seen. The inside is marked with an unidentified pseudo-hallmark.

Origin: America, probably New England, circa 1815. Condition: excellent, sharp detail. Size: 6-5/16” long...

Pair of German Biedermeier Classical silver candlesticks, ca 1830. Each: Socket mounted to leaf flange in turn mounted to baluster shaft on raised round foot on square base. Fluting, gadrooning, acanthus leaf, and leaf-and-dart ornament. Marked. Very good condition with nice patina.

Federal Classical coin silver flagon. Made by Nicholas James Bogert in New York, ca 1820. Upward tapering cylinder on spread and stepped base. S-scroll handle with ribbed thumb rest and heart terminal. Hinged and domed cover with bud finial. Curved spout with ogee opening. Bold and spare by a historic regional maker. Maker’s stamp. Very good condition with nice patina. A few areas of firescale.

A George III Sterling Silver Chamberstick with Attached Snuffer and Removeable Bobeche. Hallmarked in Sheffield in 1815 by Smith Tate & Co. (Nicholson & Holt). Faint monogram on Tray. Dimensionsl 4" high x 5.5" diameter of Tray; 9.6 Troy ounces. Chamberstick is in Excellent Condition, but there are a few small dings on the Snuffer (side facing the stick, when mounted).

An Impressive Teapot by Peter, Ann and William Bateman; London 1804. Signed PB AB WB for the three Bateman's. Weight 33.2 Standard/30.2 Troy ounces. Dimensions; 10.5" high x 9" handle to spout. Some minor flea bites, particularly on inside rim (see picture).

A George III Silver Meat Skewer, Hallmarked in London in 1812. Makers Marks MS ES, for Mary & Elizabeth Sumner, Mother and Daughter Silversmiths. Mary was the Widow of William Sumner. Length 12.5". Excellent condition.

A George III Silver Toddy or Punch Ladle, with a Half Spiral Twist Baleen (whalebone)Handle with a Silver Tip at the End. Hallmarked in London, 1811, with makers mark "EM" for Elizabeth Morley, Widow of Thomas Morely, Silversmith. Dimension; 14.75" length. Some wear on edge of bowl, but in very good shape.

Restauration Classical silver gilt box. Made by Jean-Baptiste Claude Odiot in Paris, ca 1820. Drum form with spread base; cover raised. Cast egg-and-dart and floral rims. Heart engraved with single script letter monogram set in flower wreath on cover top and body. Sumptuous Return-of-the-Bourbons luxe from the Ancien Regime do-over years. Fully marked including maker’s stamp and the fineness (950) stamp instituted in 1819...

George IV sterling silver and agate fruit set for 12 with 24 pieces. Made by Francis Higgins in London in 1833. This set comprises 12 forks and 12 knives. Tapering rectilinear half-fluted handles in mottled grey and brown agate. Sterling silver blades and 4-tined shanks. Regency Classicism for a special dinner party. Fully marked. Excellent condition.

A Georgian period sterling silver Madeira bottle label or ticket, hallmarked for London England 1818 - 1819. The label measures 2-1/4" x 1-3/8" and it weighs 19.9 grams. It has a maker`s mark for Wm. Elliott (entered 1810), and it is in excellent vintage condition with no dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs. All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted; all items are vintage or antique and may have slight signs of gentle use...

A Georgian Sterling Silver Tea Set by Samuel Hennell (son of Robert). Hallmarked London, 1812/1815. It is of fluted design, stands on ball feet, and has gadroon detailing to the rims. The teapot is marked 1812 and the sugar and creamer 1815, all of identical design. The sugar bowl and cream jug have gilded interiors. Total weight 34.7 Troy ounces. Excellent condition.
