English George III snuff box fashioned from horn and with a tortoiseshell veneer on the cover. Circa 1790-1810. The cover is also inlaid with a floral design in silver and gold. Chip to one corner of cover (see photo detail); hinge is firm and carved from the horn, with a snug fit to the lid. Size: 3" long x 1.5" deep x .75" high.
A vintage 19th century turned cow horn dice or gaming cup with lid. This unsigned 2-5/8" high and 2-1/4" diameter cup features simple turning and a snug-fitting slip-on lid (slightly ajar in the picture), and it is in excellent original condition with no cracks, losses, damage or repairs other than two 1/8" rim chips on the lid and an original bend and small opening in the inserted bottom...

Pair of Georgian cut steel and horn hair combs, one fashioned as a crescent, one as a crescent and star. Beautiful original condition; one rivet on swivel of crescent and start has broken loose. Measure 2 ¾” tall.
