Antique Kurd (NW Persia) bagface, first quarter of the 20th century, beautiful natural dyes, full pile, edges rewrapped, roughly 20" by 20".
Unusual children’s shoes, dating from the first half of the 19th century, probably Turkish. Shoes are leather with gilt metal embroidery, silk tassels, and linen twine. Soles are stamped. Very good condition; they show some wear, especially to soles. Measure 5 7/8”.
Dark purple paneled velvet rugby cap with gold braid trim and tassel, embroidered “PFC” to the central panel and “1895-6” to the visor. Interior tag reads “James Gardner/late of C Stewart/18 Cross St/Manchester”. Condition is very good; some slight fraying to the lining.
Antique Turkish runner, Konya area, probably Kurdish made, second half of the 19th Century. It features a series of four panel with alternating red and green grounds; extra end panels with mirhabs; and animal and human figures in each of the square panels. It probably dates from the 1870's. The dimensions are: 51" x 183". Natural dyes, very old repairs to the pile, good condition.
Rare antique kani striped shawl from Kashmir, circa 1850-1870, in good condition. Wonderful natural colors. Unusual long format (26" by 114") which may indicate that this shawl was at one time wider and may have been divided to serve a specific purpose. This shawl has been lined in blue satin, but the lining can very easily be removed if desired.

Exceptional complete pair of Kurdish saddlebags (khorjin) in beautiful condition, first quarter of the 20th Century, with kilim back and soumak bridge and skirts, full pile, beautiful wool, mostly natural dyes (some tip fading of the sparsely used apricot-orange), some old repairs to the closure system. The ivory borders in this set are rather unusual, with the vertical borders of a different pattern than the horizontal. This is a large set of saddlebags: 29" by 52"...

Wonderful Art Nouveau style 19th century silk hand-embroidery of a golden hair maiden (a bride?) holding a bouquet of pink flowers, framed within a lacy tree arbor and standing atop a blanket of daisies. Lovely pastel colors in soft shades of pink, green, blue and yellow make this piece feminine and serene. Unusual handmade frame with glass, front and back cut in a stylized V shape. The back of this piece continues the scrolly tree branch, centered with a pastel blue butterfly...
