Lovely antique floral microbeaded reticule, in vivid colors. The background is bright turquoise-tinged blue; a vine of many colored morning glories climbs up the right half of the purse. Missing half of the beaded twist fringe; two repairs at the top; a few small scattered areas of missing beads; replaced liner. But a beautiful, mostly intact example of micro beadwork. Measures 8” long by 5 3/4'” wide; fringe adds 1 1/2”.

A charming French cut steel beaded purse with a multi-tone rug design in shades of gold, silver and bronze, circa 1900. The purse features an intertwining fringe, a double chain handle, a patterned goldtone frame and a white satin lining. The frame is marked "Made in France". Condition is very good: the beads are all present and tight to the frame. The fringe is missing one string, and there may be some dirt or discoloration on some of the other strings...
Antique micro beaded purse, featuring a beautiful oriental rug pattern, with tribal influences. The central black medallion features designs in green, gold and brick red. The medallion is surrounded by a white field depicting flowers and vines in blue, yellow, and brown. Finally, there is a vibrant saw tooth border in green, black and yellow. Mustard yellow cotton lining; drawstring closure. Probably had a fringe at one time. Very good condition; just a bead missing here and there...

A clutch worked from a 19th century Chinese silk embroidery with Peking knot, the space beetween filled with tiny white seed glass beads. White lining and green jade imitating glass knob. Condition: lining with few traces of usage, clean. Dimension: c. 19 cm x 12.5 cm.
Unusual and early embroidered purse, in white and red felt stitched with metallic thread, possibly Turkish or Indian. Very good condition; cotton lining is shattered and felt has a few spots of dirt, but the embroidery and metallic drop tassel are wonderful! Measures 8 1/8” by 6 1/8” – tassel adds 2 ¼”.
This charming Double Nine Patch quilt has smaller than postage stamp pieces. Each block measures a mere half an inch in diameter. It is made entirely of solid color fabrics. Consistent use of red centers enhances the diagonal chain effect.The ten borders repeat the colors used throughout the quilt. The white blocks are quilted with patterns of feathered flowers. Measurements are 75" x 87". Indiana origin; circa 1920.
Elegant, pristine reversible Bars quilt. It may be English, in which case it would be referred to as a Strippy quilt. Regardless of where it originated, this piece was done by a master. The quilting is superbly done in a variety of patterns.The fabrics are elegant cotton sateens and beautifully coordinated. The backing is similar to the front but not identical.
