Fantastic 19th century dance card, probably Austrian, comprising an assemblage of mountain climbing gear, suspended from a chatelaine hook by a blue silk cord and topped with a chenille tassel. The front features what I believe is either a snowshoe or a ski carrier, complete with buckled leather straps, under which lies an ice axe crossed with a trekking pole. Antique (Last quarter of the nineteenth century) Balouch double prayer rug, measuring 33" by 63", complete with original selvedges and kilim ends. In fine condition except for the usual but mild oxydation of the browns which gives this rug a sculptured feel, and some restoration to the kilim ends. Definitely a rug for the Balouch collector.

Interesting 18th century beaded coin purse, probably English or French, featuring a pattern of red flowers with green leaves against a gold ground. Construction is similar to sable beadwork, but these beads are much bigger than most sable beading. The lining is a beautiful 18th century silk. Excellent condition. Measures 4” by 3 1/2”.

I believe this beautiful beaded piece may be a small table decoration, or napkin. It is a circular panel featuring a vivid wreath of flowers, including a red and a pink rose, bordered by four full layers of different colored fringes. Excellent condition. Measures 6 1/4”.
Antique Turkish runner, Konya area, probably Kurdish made, second half of the 19th Century. It features a series of four panel with alternating red and green grounds; extra end panels with mirhabs; and animal and human figures in each of the square panels. It probably dates from the 1870's.
