A pair of icon fragments done on wood with extensive gold highlights. They are both from the same icon, which, I believe, depicted the Four Evangelists. The painting is of exceptional quality, as the photos will hopefully confirm. While I believe that they in fact date to the 17th century, I am conservatively dating them to the 19th or earlier. The panels measure 3-1/2" X 5-3/8" and 3-3/8" X 5-1/2", respectively. Rare and beautiful examples.

Although not marked, this art glass piece bears the styling and quality of Victorian pieces made by the Stevens and Williams Ltd of England and in the 1870s under the direction of John Northwood (son Harry Northwood was a glass maker in America).
