A Wonderful French Opalescent Crystal Center Bowl on Tripod Legs Formed of Tulips Bulbs. By Edmund Etling; Made at Choisy-le-Roi Glassworks near Paris-Cataloge number 151. Signed Etling France 151. Dimensions 8" in diameter x 2.75" high. The flowers and leaves are quite detailed underneath the bowl, with three tulips forming each of the tripod legs. Excellent condition. From the early 1900's.

This set of 12 porcelain bread and butter plates was produced in Germany by Lamm Dresden in the 1880s. Not all the plates are pictured but there are 12 in the set. The plates have a diameter of 6 1/4 inches. The rims are slightly scalloped. They are hand painted with charming sprays and garlands of flowers in a palate of blue, pink and yellow. There is delicate hand gilded trim. There is a cartouche with a gilded monogram on the rims...

An Importand and Historic Coin Silver Mug (Christening or Childs Mug) by noted Boston Silversmith Obadiah Rich (1809-1888, active 1830-1850). Marked pieces by Rich are Rare as much of his Output went to Leading Boston Retailers. The Mug is inscribed "Dec. 25, 1848 Emily P. Call from Abel Cushing Jr.". Cushing (1785-1866) was a Massachusetts lawyer and the author of "Historical letters on the first charter of Massachusetts government", published 1839...

A 19th Century Staffordshire Earthenware Jug depicting Admiral Nelson. There is a similar example in the collection of the National Maritime Museum, Greenwich, London. Condition - excellent - no damages and no restoration. 28.6cm (11.25inches) high.

A fine mid-19th century French silver tastevin (wine taster), the base inset with an 1810 Italian silver coin from the reign of Emperor Napoleon I as King of Italy. The bottom edge of the bowl is decorated with curved, scalloped "godrons" which were intended to reflect light through white wine to judge clarity. This tastevin does not have the "cupules" ("ovoides") specifically intended to deepen the color of red wines. The sides are decorated with grapevines and clusters of fruit...

A Well Known, Notable and Rare Gorham Sterling Silver Large Fish Set with Ivory Handles. Elaborately Pierced and with Silver Gilt on the Pierced Pattern and with Carved Ivory Handles. Dimensions of knife, 11.5" x 3", fork, 10" x 3". Pattern introduced in 1892 and made for a brief time. Excellent condition. This particular model, number 607 (see picture of mark), was featured on the cover of the September 2008 issue of The Magazine Antiques...

A Large Royal Worcester Vase with a Reticulated Neck, Pierced Design in the Handles and Gilt on Rim and Bottom. There is a Hand Painted Scene of Stratford Church on front, and a Hand Painted Floral Design on the Back. Registration No. 101230 for 1888 Pattern No.1279. The size is 12.25" high x 7" wide, with a 22" circumference. It weighs 2.3 lbs. Excellent condition.

A wonderful late 19th or very early 20th century sheet iron weathervane in the form of a sperm whale silhouette. The vane is hand sawn and retains its old coat of oxidized green paint (may be original, but appears to be a second coat). One side still has its black painted eye. The silhouette is attached to its original copper mounting pole. Found in Maine.

A rare enameled beaker made as a souvenir of the 1896 coronation of Imperial Russia’s last monarchs, Czar Nicholas II and Czarina Alexandra Feodorovna. One side of the beaker features the Imperial double-headed eagle and the reverse shows the Imperial cipher. The remainder of the body is decorated with traditional Russian strapwork. The beakers were to be given away to the public on the Khodinka field in Moscow...
