Beautiful old Nepali/Tibetan bamboo box with rattan bindings and metal chain. Bought this in Kathmandu in 1986 and it always been one of my favorite pieces. There are cracks on the outside of the bamboo, but none on the inside. H: 20cm/8in and 9.8cm/3.9in.

One(1) French Ormolu gilded bronze Candelabra with four(4) lights, 21 1/2" high, 8 1/2" x 8 1/2" wide-maximum measurement, each have matching separate removable original bobesche, supporting by main reed column on three(3) animal paws on the base. Some gilding is worn in the middle of column area. No damage or restoration.

English hand painted Polychrome floral decorated on Satinwood Foot Stool, 8 1/2" high, 14" x 10 3/4" wide on top frame, with tapered Sheraton style leg with more hand painted decoration of broad leaf, and removable seat frame, lift the seat from the frame and change the fabric, the entire foot stool frame is all original. There are some wear and tear on wood.

Three elongated light blue plaques mounted in antique brass bow frames with screw-on backs. The plagues measure about 2" wide x 3" high, and are in excellent condition. The brass frames measure about 2 1/2" wide by 5 3/4" tall and are also in excellent condition. On the back of each plague is the impressed WEDGWOOD mark, and each also has the lone letter X impressed...

DESCRIPTION: An antique Spanish Colonial style painted sheet metal mirror, 19th to early 20th C., continental Europe. Acanthus leaves decorate the painted border, topped by an elaborate floral crest with center figural medallion. PROVENANCE: From the Collection of Eugene V. and Clare E. Thaw. DESCRIPTION: A handsome Victorian era (c. 1890) copper coal scuttle with brass handle and hinges, having a built-in copper “pocket” on the top to hold a shovel scoop. These coal scuttles are practical today for removing ashes from your fireplace, and making a warm “hearth and home” statement. This one shows use with scattered small dents and a base repair.
