A truly marvelous silver plate round box on enameled stand, in the form of a nesting dove, France hallmark, classic Art Deco form with the often depicted dove.
Measures 8" wide, 6 1/4" high, and 6" deep.
No marks other than the stamped France mark, artist unknown, but is certainly designed with a fine artistic eye.
The bird has ruffled feathers around the neck, its feet grasping onto the base, with a short tail feather with step design...
Valuables cabinet circa 1695. . Total height 69”, total width 44.5”, total depth 21”. Two large opening doors each measure 28.5” x 20”. Small internal door 13.5” x 11”. Floor to top of large drawer measures 32.5”. Legs outer dimensions 42.75” x 20” (22” including the ball feet).
