In Nicely Faded Mahogany, the hinged, rectangular lid opening to an interior fitted with an arrangement of valanced pigeonholes and small drawers. Below are four reverse-serpentine graduated drawers and the whole is raised on graceful ogee bracket feet. Fine small scale ormolu, crystal and cut glass six-light chandelier with baluster shaped cut glass stem supporting six scrolling floral and foliate ormolu candle arms, the whole hung with swags of crystal beads and drop pendants. Late 19th century. (Electrified)
Brass two-tiered, twelve light chandelier with turned baluster supporting two tiers, each with six scrolling candle arms. The large ball below the juncture of the arms and the drop ring are typical features of 18th century Dutch chandeliers. Early 20th century. Now electrified, polished and lacquered.

Rectangular black laquered snuffbox enhanced with mustard- and red-painted decoration on all six surfaces. The inside of the lid is engraved "Alexr> C. Stark/Paterson, NJ". American, ca. 1830. Excellent condition, showing slight surface wear where Mr. Stark (obviously a right handed gentlemen) placed his thumb to open the box.
Stunning Victorian bronze picture frame, the border inset with gold velvet completely encrusted with gold thread embroidery of twining vines and flowers. The easel back is covered in gold moire silk.

Attractive and unusual Victorian inlaid wood stereographgraphoscope. When the lid is raised and a stereograph is inserted in the holder, the viewer looks through the magnifying portal for a realistic three dimensional view.

Outstanding American late Classical mirror framed in solid well-figured mahogany with a gilt applied composition border of bellflowers. The gilding has a particularly rich patina. The glass is old and 1/4" thick, but probably not original, and has dulled to a very nice patina. The plate is backed with a wood panel that is covered with paper. The nails holding the plate in place have been replaced.
Origin: America, probably mid-Atlantic region, ca. 1840...

This pair of Fu Dogs was used to decorate on the top part of an altar place (as you could see the notches at the bottoms) in an old Chinese house. Nicely standing with one leg on the ball, they were painted with red and gold colors.

Round Continental porcelain box, with transfer decoration on a convex lid depicting four people in a pastoral setting, the interior with floral and foliate transfer decoration on white ground. There are gilt highlights on the exterior salmon-colored body and rim. Condition is very good, with some surface scratches to the transfer decoration, but no chips or cracks.
