Rectangular black laquered snuffbox enhanced with mustard- and red-painted decoration on all six surfaces. The inside of the lid is engraved "Alexr> C. Stark/Paterson, NJ". American, ca. 1830. Excellent condition, showing slight surface wear where Mr. Stark (obviously a right handed gentlemen) placed his thumb to open the box.

Brass two-tiered, twelve light chandelier with turned baluster supporting two tiers, each with six scrolling candle arms. The large ball below the juncture of the arms and the drop ring are typical features of 18th century Dutch chandeliers. Early 20th century. Now electrified, polished and lacquered.

American Chippendale Ox-Bow Slant-Front Desk. Massachusetts, Circa 1780. In Nicely Faded Mahogany, the hinged, rectangular lid opening to an interior fitted with an arrangement of valanced pigeonholes and small drawers. Below are four reverse-serpentine graduated drawers and the whole is raised on graceful ogee bracket feet. The grain of the mahogany on the lid and drawer fronts is very fine and the sides are 'plum-pudding' mahogany...
Important Antique English Gilt Wood and Composition Girandole Mirror, the oval mirror plate within a leaf carved surround and within mirrored borders with crossed vine-form decoration. The cresting and pendant formed with scrolling leaf and paterae and the pendant with three vine and floral decorated candlearms. Early 19th century.
