This is a very nice cabinet made from a nicely patinaed cherry by the beginning of the 20th century. This type of cabinet is commonly called Confiturier by the French (Jam Cabinet) and is originally from the south of France. Offering elegantly simple line, it is very convenient thanks to a large upper drawer with single handle above an adorable recessed paneled door revealing a spacious storage area with single shelf. Note the long hinge barrel mounting the door. The lock is in working condition...

An exceptional 19th century European carved walnut armchair with original needlepoint upholstery and nail head trim. Seat features a scene with a wolfhound guarding a sheep. Back is covered in orange velvet which is torn at one corner (see pix). The scene on the chair back also has some damage to the man's face which can be repaired. (see pix). There a spots of minor age related wear to upholstery, but really in very good antique condition. The chair is solid and sturdy...
Spectacular yellow grain painted multi-drawer chest with blue striping. It is all original, has early tiny square nails, wooden knobs, and drawers that open and close easily. Two of the top drawers were used for storing spools of thread. The holes and outline of spools are there but the posts have been removed. It is painted on all four sides. It is 18" wide, by 19" tall and is 10 1/2" deep not counting the knobs. It is circa 1840.

This is a nice antique spice chest in old and original green paint. It has 12 drawers with original wooden pulls. The drawer fronts have nice old surface and don't look like they were ever painted. The tiny T nailed construction is early and nice. It has a spice smell about it that is mellow and pleasing. It is a nice small table top size, 15" wide by 12" tall by 7" deep not counting the pulls. You can see that one drawer was used much more than the rest...

Beautifully made walnut American Victorian night stand with marble top. Made and signed under the marble by R. Renwick & Son of Baltimore, Maryland. R. Renwick was a cabinet maker to the wealthy, (see article in photos) and his workmanship was the finest in the area. The measurements on this table are 31" tall x 17 1/2" wide x 17 1/2" deep.
