Spoils of Time
$685.00
A nicely shaped, George III period knife box. Rich, old finish with natural, dark patina. One of the back feet appears to be a replacement. In good, lightly conserved condition with some imperfections. The wood tends to move over time with differences in shrinkage. Our pictures show an area with the most movement/distress. A little attention in the hand of an accomplished cabinetmaker/restores can work wonders for this box. Height, 14 3/4" inches (37.465 cm)

George III Paint Decorated Neo-Classical Console Table from the late 18th Century. This is a really superb decorative period table that measures 39.5 inches wide by 32 inches tall by 20 inches deep. The table is parcel gilt. I would not say Angleica Kaufman but this is a first rate period Georgian Console table for the advanced collector.

Having French empire fabric on the screen, 20" wide, 15.5" deep, 27.5" high. This can easily be french, the gallery, lock and casters seem British. The drawer construction seems to be more likely English and the figured burr elm used more in England than France but this cold be a piece of French furniture.
