An exceptional 19th century European carved walnut armchair with original needlepoint upholstery and nail head trim. Seat features a scene with a wolfhound guarding a sheep. Back is covered in orange velvet which is torn at one corner (see pix). The scene on the chair back also has some damage to the man's face which can be repaired. (see pix). There a spots of minor age related wear to upholstery, but really in very good antique condition. The chair is solid and sturdy...

English Mahogany Georgian Chippendale Knee Hole Desk, Ca. 1790, 31" high, 33" wide, 17" deep, molded top above the pull out board with two(2) small brass drop handle, one(1) long drawer on top above six(6) small drawers on both sides, one(1) pull out small drawer with shaped apron in the center above one(1) blind door cupboard between six(6) drawers, whole desk is supported by four(4) bracket feet. The lining is Oak, dovetailed inside the drawers...

Pair French Directoire style carved Mahogany Armchairs, Ca. mid 1800's, 36" high and 18" wide-back, 23" wide-front, 17 1/2" high-seat height, newly upholstered with greenish gold silk fabric and reed arm rest to the square block of interesting carved design. The frame is in very strong, heavy and solid and upholstery work is new. These chairs will go together very well with #1386068 Sheraton sofa in the very elegant traditional living room setting.

American Sheraton style Mahogany sofa with pure silk upholstered Sofa, Ca. late 1800's, 76" wide, 23" deep and 35" high-back, 17 1/2" high seat height, with very solid Mahogany carved frame, and reeded back and arm down to the side to the bottom horizontal frame, supported by brass casters, and upholstered with pale greenish gold and black and white striped silk fabric...

A fine example of a mid 19th century salesman's sample or doll's chair. This piece is all original, including its red paint and the woven splint seat.

The condition is excellent, with no issues to speak of. 11 1/4" tall, 6 1/2" wide, and 7" deep.

Beautifully made walnut American Victorian night stand with marble top. Made and signed under the marble by R. Renwick & Son of Baltimore, Maryland. R. Renwick was a cabinet maker to the wealthy, (see article in photos) and his workmanship was the finest in the area. The measurements on this table are 31" tall x 17 1/2" wide x 17 1/2" deep.

Antique Chinese guan pi xiang (document box), made of huanghuali. Top opens to a tray-shaped storage area. The doors are made with dramatic huanghauli wood burl panels and open to reveal 5 drawers (4 small drawers and 1 larger one).

Chinese pair of huanghuali wood official's hat chairs. Simply and smoothly carved with a cusped edge on the front legs. Rattan seats. Provenance: from the collection of the Santa Barbara Museum, California. (Note regarding the Museum label: little was known about Chinese hardwoods at the time this label was made. Thus the wood is mislabeled "cherry wood").

Antique Dueling Pistol Case in mahogany, rectangular with brass carrying handles, now having a marbled paper interior and mounted on a later Chippendale style stand. Probably English, late 18th/early 19th Century.

A Large Roycroft Oak Arts & Crafts Frame. Unusual form with applied maple leaves, attributed by a well known Roycroft researcher to be by the Head Carpenter, William Roth. Distinctive Roycroft Construction, as shown. Measures about 29 1/8" by 24 1/8" and weighs over twelve pounds. Rare find.

Lovely petite hand painted curio cabinet with glass door with bronze trim and "J" shaped side glass, also with bronze mounts. It measures 54" tall x 26" wide x 15" deep. It is beautifully hand painted with a musical and flower motif.

Beautifully decorated curio cabinet with serpentine glass door, and curved glass sides. The marquetry is beautifully done, with a basket of flowers on the door, and flowers on the side and trim. There is marquetry every place that there is wood. The marquetry is highlighted by bronze trim all around it. It has cabriole legs, also with bronze trim. This lovely cabinet measures 57" tall x 30" wide x 14" deep. It is in excellent original condition...

Gustav Stickley Arts and Crafts Morris arm chair. Circa 1904-1907. Oak, in a dark brown finish. Replaced cushions. Red decal. Size: 30 3/8 inches width x 36 inches depth x 39 1/2 inches ht. Adjustable, two-positions, reclining slat back.

A lidded brass box, made around 1900, Chinese. Small brass medallions with auspicious flowers and birds have been soldered on to the box, and to the front are two enamel and copper medallions with cranes. One medallion is of the shou symbol surrounded by bats. The wooden lining suggests that the box was used for cigars. The back with stamped mark CHINA. Nice format, width "5 ¼ / 13.3 cm, height "2 / 5 cm. Condition: fine.

DESCRIPTION: An 18th c. banister back armchair having scalloped crest and bottom rails, turned finials, bulbous front spindles and rush seat.
