An antique Japanese Sendai Tansu in a rare 2 section design made of Keyaki (Zelkova) and Sugi (Cryptomeria) woods. All original hand forged iron hardware with Urushi lacquer finish. Rounded Mokko style handles with Chrysanthemum lock plates surrounded by an arabesque leaf pattern. Four large drawers with a hinged security door that hides two small drawers.

Incredibly beautiful original Vernis Martin French cabinet from the late 1800s. It has wonderful original romantic scenes adorned with brass mounts. There are two side doors with serpentine glass, and the center glass is convex. All glass is original, as is everything else. It measures 74″ tall x 39″ wide x 19″ deep. It is very good condition, commensurate with its age
English Chippindale period Mahogany Looking Glass, Mirror, Ca. 1780, 37" high, 20 1/2" wide, 1 1/4" deep, original Gilded Phoenix Bird in the center reticulated open framed top, original glass mirror bordered by original gold inner frame. The backing is old replacement and there are some repair of the carved top area, reinforced with thin pieces of wood in the back.
