A fabulous 19th C Meissen porcelain inkwell set in Imari palate. Consisting of an inkwell with lid, a sander and an undertray. All pieces were hand painted and are in excellent condition. There is some wear to the enamels on the tray from use but that is it. No hairlines, chips, or cracks. This absolutely wonderful pair of Victorian opera glasses are marked Lemaire Fabt, Paris. They were made in Paris, and date back to about 1880-90. They measure 4” wide and 3” tall when fully extended and were part of the extravagant Paris opera scene during the Victorian period. What a joy to be able to take them to the opera today.
