Interesting design with faces and spacers. Also smaller faces near the rim.

Three piece doctor's desk set in original box. Circa 1910 and made of Silvered bronze, this set is exquisitely detailed and in excellent condition. It consists of a letter opener, a seal, and a pen all with the caduceus symbol for medicine. The original box is fitted and lined with red velvet. The exterior of the box has some damage, see the last picture. The measurements are as follows:
Box - 5" wide by 9.75" long
Pen - 8" long and .75" at its widest.
Seal - 3.5" tall and 1" at its widest...

A VERY SCARCE DECORATED BRONZE MORTAR, ENGLAND DATING CA. 1600 AD.
The mortar very attractive with a large open rim and decorated with leaves and rosettes as well as square handles.
Size: 15,5 cm. over the handles, 13,6 cm. for the rim, ca. 11,5 cm. high.

This is a bronze or copper alloy horse bridle bit. It dates to the Zhou dynasty (as early as 1100 BCE) of ancient China. This particular piece is a very rare type with extra loops on each end. It measures roughly 20 cm in length and weighs 158 grams. This piece is in excellent condition and would be a great addition to any collection. Price just reduced for the new year!!!
This handsome solid brass and walnut pharmacy Pill Machine was used by 19th Century Druggist and designed to increase a pharmacist’s pill production.
The instrument consists of two parts.
1. A Slanted Base Plate with two solid brass side rails and a fluted brass strip with markings with graduated markings
2. A Roller with 4 brass wheels and a fluted strip matching the base plate strip.
Steps in making a pill:
An unusual find for those who collect narcotic bottles. This circa 1920s Opium hypodermic tablet boxed medicine is a nice find. There are 2 remaining vials that sport complete labels as seen. The box measures around 3 inches and has a label marked PANTOPON 'Roche'.
The vials are empty.

This awesome tool of the trade includes many unused burs housed in their original, individual boxes. A detailed, complete label is pasted on the interior lid and is in good condition.
The hardwood case measures 11" L x 5.5" W x 3" H and has wear to the finish commensurate with age and use.
