Hand sewn 19th C antique strawberry emery with a black velvet top. This has a very country look, it is a little discolored but has no holes or leaks. The black velvet top has nice wear and is sewn on with tiny stitches. This is bigger than the standard emery, 2 1/2" long and is circa 1860-70

The needle gauge of barometer/thermometer shape, marked E & S and Stricknadel Lehre (German for knitting needle gauge). Length of scissors "3¾/ 9 cm and of gauge "3½/ 8,5 cm. Condition: fine.
