This is a very interesting bronze, socketed spear from ancient Greece or Persia. It has a slightly swollen midrib accented with incised lines. The socket is split at the original seam and there are some losses. The blade has what appears to be ancient battle damage, making this quite a unique piece for any collection. This is quite an unusual mace head from ancient Persia, likely dating to around 1200 BC. It is decorated with incised linear patterns and small spikes. There are 5 spikes on each of three segments. This piece came from a large private collection of axes and spears. It is solid and stable with no apparent repairs or restorations. It weighs 418 grams and measures roughly 13 cm in length.

Antique haidate(Echu style), samurai's thigh guard, with metal pieces and chain on stencil dyed (katazome) cotton. The metalwork is older, probably from the 17th to 18th century. This was probably remade sometimes later in the Meiji period. Dimensions are 21 1/4” wide and 21 3/4" long with ties on both sides.

This is a Japanese Nishijin obi made in exceptionally high quality. The obi is old but almost in perfect condition. It is beautiful to look at even without using a magnifying glass. The soft colors have an earth tone and the use of the dyed threads tells us that this is a superior work of Kyoto Nishijin. The scenery is of the mountains of Kyoto but if you look closely, you might notice that there is a foreign look to some of the structures. The size of each structure is 1" to 2.5"...

This is a fantastic example of an ancient bronze mace head. This piece was part of a large collection of bronze weapons from the middle East. There are four radial spike protruding from the head. The socket is hollow and slightly flared near the bottom. There is a perforation for attaching the socket to a shaft. This piece weighs 222 grams and measures just under 10 cm. Mace heads like this are very rare and quite desirable for collectors. This piece won't last long!!
