One of a kind: Edo Period Ichimonji Utsushi Raku Chawan on high flared and cut (warikodai) foot by the 11th Zengoro Eiraku (Eiraku Hozen), made in the mid 19th century. A horizontal line is molded on the body, it's the Japanese character "ichi" - one!. (Please see last picture to see an antique Ichimonji Chawan in Korean style from the Ulrich Vollmer Collection Berlin).
This is one of the rare tea bowls of Eiraku Hozen fired with a lower temperature in the style of Raku ceramics...

A very finely potted dish decorated with a pattern of scattered shibagaki, bundles of brushwood, which would have formed part of a decorative garden hedge, with boughs of Plum blossom. This pattern was made for the domestic market and would have been particularly appropriate for the celebration of the New Year. The design is referencing the strong winds and storms of early spring.

Porcelain vase. Decor of dragons chasing the sacred pearl, painted in underglaze cobalt blue. The ground is covered with an ochre-greenish enamel. Vietnamese work from the 19th century or before? The vase is very broken as shown in the photos. The broken neck has been replaced by a silver neck on which a stopper has been placed. Height: 24cm.
Pair of fine satzuma earthenware vases. The cream colored clay is covered with finely crackled glaze. A golden decoration representing pagodas in a mountainous landscape is placed on a matte black background. Some details are sprinkled to imitate morning mists. These are original vases inspired by Komai style vases in gold damask steel. Probably made in Kyoto during the Meiji or Taisho period. Good condition. Height: 125mm.

A Padang Highlands gilt brass kettle with false lid and a lidded box standing on three legs, both cast with the lost wax method showing floral and geometric motifs. Condition: both lids with few tiny casting holes, the box interior with some rust, both items with traces of usage. The letters made of copper plates originally attached to a votive wooden tablet dedicated from its worshipper named Yamato Sue to the Miyoshi-jinja shrine in Akita prefecture. Meiji period (1868-1912).

Late Meiji - early Taisho (1910s) Japanese pottery Bizen ware chaire (tea caddy for storing powdered green tea used in tea ceremony). Wonderful potting, buff color clay with beautiful orange streaks, pleasant patina, impressed mark of the potter on the bottom. Later turned dark hardwood lid lined with gold paper on the inside. Comes with very well made shifuku (silk brocade storage bag). Great piece in excellent condition. Height with cover 3 1/8 inches, maximum body diameter 2 3/16 inches.
