A very rare blue and white decorated water dropper of the Choson ( Joeson ) period 19th century. L+B : 6,8 cm. H : 2,9 cm. Condition : A chip on the inside of one of the feet, invisible from the outside of the base ( probably genuine from the time of production ) further in perfect condition. Provenance : from an old German family collection.

Antique late Qing Dynasty Chinese Export Famille Rose porcelain tea caddy and cover of hexagonal form and a cylindrical neck, with six feet at the corners. The front is painted with two ladies in a garden landscape, the back inscribed with a poem. The bottom is stamped with a red seal mark.
CONDITION: Slightly worn out showing the age and usage, small chips on the rim of the neck and the edges of the body, which can be expected from an over 100 year old household porcelain...

It is 27 inches (68.5 cm) tall by 20.5 inches (52 cm) wide with stand. The panel is 20.5 inches (52 cm) tall by 17.5 inches (44.5 cm) wide. The embroidery is 17 inches (43.2 cm) tall by 13.8 inches (35.2 cm) wide. It is 13.7 Lb.

It has cracks, missing the back panels at the stand, and missing some mother of pearl and small chips at the wood (as seen in the photos)...

This is Japanese Edo era Beautiful silk of the patchwork yosegire beni-itajime jyuban. It is comprised of four kinds of itajime-dye and eight kinds of katazome-dye and Safflower dyeing . It is all silk of the Edo era. It has a slight damage to a sleeve and a collar. However, it is in a state very good generally. I recommend it to you collection. size:145cm x 123cm (57.1" x 48.4")

Simply beautiful...describes this Japanese lacquer tray table which would have been used for serving sake. From the Meiji period, the deep rich black roiro-nuri lacquer background sets the scene for the emaki-e gold paint depicting a landscape of trees, flowing water and hills.

Description:

A bronze boy was well cast in solid way.
In lying posture, the boy was half-naked revealing his hips and penis.
It was believed from the unknown custom of the Sa-Man people of north-eastern China.
Nice and warm patina was kept when sandy-feel surface was left due to long time of age.
Adhesives were preserved in the crevices.
It can be a nice brush-rest by the lying shape.

Date: 10th-12th centuries, Liao/Jing periods.
