This Classic Mayan mother-of-pearl figurine is 1 1/8" wide. It was found by Dr. Allen Heflin. Although I could not capture it in photos, it is nicely opalescent. It would make a very unusual jewelry finding. It is C300-900AD.

Chavin C1200BC-200BC Steatite and Stone Necklace , some beads are plain and some have the classic Chavin circle and dot patters while others have swirl patterns . One large copper bead and a giant stone spindle whorl type bead. The necklace is strung on adjustable leather cord and is stable and wearable.Length of beads 19" not counting large pendant.

Rare Pre-Columbian Volcanic stone figure of a seated lady, cupping her breasts, Atlantic Watershed Region, Chiriqui-Diquis, ca. 300-800 AD.

Seated naked woman, cupping each breast in her hands, with serene facial features, large ears to the side, the striated coiffure extending down the neck. Porous basalt, intact. The breast holding posture of this female figure is seen as a symbolic fertility gesture.

This ceramic Colima warrior is 6" long. It is in perfect condition with no dings, restoration or repair. It is from the estate of the late Lynn Langdon. The figure was acquired in Mexico in the mid-20th century and is attributed to the Colima horizon, c.300BC-300AD. This extremely rare standing Olmec figure is 3" long and 1 1/2" wide at the shoulders. It is made from true jadeite that is semi-translucent at the right arm and shoulder. HIGH QUALITY LARGE NARINO CAPULI PEDESTAL BOWL, Capuli cultural complex (ca. 850 A.D. – 1500 A.D.)

This spectacular bowl has the body decorated with a black-on-cream resist painted pattern. The inside is beautifully decorated with a resist and red design.

A highly interesting and very accomplished Blackware vessel with the portrait head of a living man, Precolumbian Peru, Late Moche or early Chimú, 7th.-9th. century AD.

Superbly detailed and rather substantial vessel, made as a grinning man with his tungue between his teeth and wearing larger earrings and headdress, the spout of the vessel prodruding from the top of his head. Rather scarce piece!

Size: 22 cm. tall and 16 cm...

A Veracruz stone yoke circa 250-950 AD in characteristic U-form, the thick implement with polished surface except for the outside. A flat top, the sides tapering slightly downwards. The end of each arm is relief- carved with an ornate pattern of complementary bands and scrolling plumage-like motifs. Remains of a red pigment in a speckled grey-light green stone. Minor restoration. Length 15", width 14".On a presentation stand. Provenanace: Southwest College Auction, La Mesa, CA.
