Wall fragment rendered in sunk hieroglyphs showing a nicely carved vulture over a shallow bowl and the sign for bread. The sequence mentions the goddess Mut and can be completed to the recurring epithet ‘Mut mistress of the sky’ [Mwt nbt pt].
The feet of another bird appear over the vulture.
Mut was an ancient Egyptian sky goddess and great divine mother. During the 18th Dynasty she formed the Theban triad together with the god Amun and her youthful son Khons...

This amulet is carved from a beautiful blue-green stone, most probably jasper and has been done with great attention to detail. The surface has a wonderful "mellow" patina and great tactile appeal. It measures 1"in height and is free from any restoration or re-carving. Inserted on a wooden stand, easily removed, should one desire. Dating to the Middle Kingdom. Ex London art market. Egyptian head with side lock, probably of Harpokrates, the infant son of Isis and Horus.
The face shows almond shaped eyes, a flattish nose, and slit mouth. The well preserved left ear appears just below the partially present side lock. The neck slightly bent to the figure’s left side.
The head most likely belongs to an ithyphallic limestone figure. For a related example, cf. acc. no. ST58 in the British Museum database.

A very attractive large Udjat eye amulet, Egyptian, and probably Late period, mid 1st. millenium BC.

The amulet is vcarved in a hard Diorite stone, very beautiful in hand.

Size: 26-27 mm. wide and very thick.

Condition: Choice and as made, the drill went wrong, visible at the back so the artist drilled another hole just beside the first one.

A finely engraved Hyksos scarab, 17th.-16th. cent. BC.

The scarab is engraved with robe pattern in the center and with other hieroglyphs to each side, untranslated.

The seat of power of the Hyksos kings was the city of Avaris in the Nile Delta, from where they ruled over Lower Egypt and Middle Egypt up to Cusae.

Size: 19 x 13,5 mm.

Condition: Nice Very fine and completely intact with remnants of torquise glaze in the devices.

A lovely large scarab, probably made in Canaanite lands of the Levante, Early New Kingdom 16th.-15th. century BC.

A beautiful carving of a large Lion attacking a rather small feeble Human with a spear. The Lion is here probably meant to represent the Pharao and the human, could be a Levantine warrior? Very well carved base and with carvings on the back as well.

A finely incised Beetle scarab of a more naturalistic form with detailed engraving of the Beetle itself, New Kingdom, c. 1539–1075 BC.

Interesting engraving on the base with a large Ankh hieroglyphs that looks to have legs and is walking towards another elongated figural sign.
