A splendid large steatite scarab from the New Kingdom, 16th. century BC- 11th. century BC.
The scarab is carved with a vase (?) flanked by a pair of hieroglyphs for the Cobra / Uraeus and further down the scarab beetle finely outlined in between hieroglyphs. The scarab is also finely carved on the back and with tiny details of body, head and legs. Note also the cylindrical finials for the horisontical drill.
Size: 22 mm. long and 16 mm...

An alabaster cosmetic vessel of squat baluster form, a rather substantial and attractive specimen with ancient remnants of Kohl inside!
Size: 56 mm. tall and 53 mm. wide.
Condition: Nice VF, the lip with some small edge chip, othervise superb and attractive for it's type.

An ancient Egyptian white steatite scarab, with finely engraved anatomical features such as clypeus, prothorax and elytra. The reverse is detailed with hieroglyphs, including the engraved depiction of a beetle scarab with the sun disk, a basket, a feather of Maat and a papyrus stem. The amulet is pierced longitudinally for suspension.
