An interesting key with a disc shaped decoration on the bow and complicated stem and bit.

Size: 95 mm. long.

Condition: Near VF, some corrosion.

A very nice and elaborate iron key of the Venethian openwork style, fitting for a casket or jewelry box, Venice, 15th.-16th. century.

An interesting version of this type with a complicated iron cut bow with an octagonal web motif and a spendid finial for a key-ring at the top. Nice piece with remnants of copper inlays in the bow and stem.

A massive and very rare key from a large iron strongbox or bank box, probably Germany, c. later 16th. century AD.

Probably made in German and fitting a large strong-box or vault door. Lovely complicated bit and very large size.

Antique mid-17th century European well hand-forged all-steel stiletto dagger with sturdy, tapered steel blade of flattened triangular section, cut on each side with series of short groves and turned ricasso.

Hilt comprising hand chiseled in relief spiral baluster grip with flattened pommel carved with an ancient Norse Swastika solar symbol of sun with rotating wings which is similar to the Georgian Borjgali...

Such and early European iron key is not something you will see on the market every day. A complicated slot with a cross and a round bow, typical for the medieval period.

The key can be dated to the 13th.-14th. century, Northern European.

A rare stoneware pitcher with salt glaze. Full-bellied shape with wide conical neck and flat handle. The base is festooned with “thumb” marks. The body is decorated with three medallions depicting a woman. A type called Trichterhalskrug in German. This stoneware pitcher was made in the Siegburg region in the 15th/16th century. It is covered with a fine salt glaze.

A lovely finial of an Eagles head, European, Gothic style, renaissance, c. 16th. century or earlier, mounted as a part of an attractive double iron coat hook and plate, dated 1823.

The substantial finial still with remnants of old gilt and the iron coat hook, finely dated and initialized in the late 18th. century manor. A nice marriage, probably made in the late 18th.-early 19th. century.

A Very Rare Antique Medieval 15th century large gilt bronze Papal ring with Nativity.

The ring is made of cast and gold-gilded bronze, hand-chiseled, engraved, and drilled. It is formed of a ring with cut sides and enlarged ends chiseled with foliage frames.

A rectangular bezel is chiseled in relief with a Nativity scene depicting the Virgin and Child with the heads of the donkey. The ox appears under the roof, surmounted in the corners by two flowers...

An interesting early Acorn top Laten spoon, English, London c. 1580.

The top with a half length female bust and having a wire ‘gulley’ down the flat and bevelled tapering stem and a round touchmark in the oval bowl. The touchmark unusually crisp with the three keys and the lettering for the maker in London.

A pair of strictly museum quality massive gothic candlesticks, probably Nuremberg / Nürnberg, renaissance, c. 1500-1550 AD.

These very large pricket canbelabras, probably for ecclesiastical use, doesn't come much better than this present pair. Stepped domed feet, baluster-shaped stems with flaring sockets. The prickets in iron.
