A superb quality Islamic bowl, Islamic, 12th century A.D. (494 AH – 597 AH). Ancient near East / Western Asia.

Turquoise glazed, pottery bowl with flaring body rising from a short foot. The sides and center decorated with a floral patterns or perhaps stylized birds(?) and a star-shaped or radiated element.

Condition: Superb. Remnants of light silver iridescence patina that is difficult to picture.

An Anatolian Marble stone Idol of a lovely 'female' form, Kusura-Beycesultan Type, Early Bronze Age II, Circa 2700-2300 B.C.

The particular shape of this fertility idol is also called a 'Violin-shape', carved as it is in a nice white marble.

Condition: Near Extremely fine and perfect, with much adhired sandy pockets, that can be cleaned if so desired.

A superb condition beige hardstone stamp seal, Cilicia / Levante, c. 1200-800 BC.

The seal expertly carved and polished into it's present perfect pyramidal shape and carved in the base with a bird. Beautiful stone used.

Attractive and impressive large stamp seal, engraved with an intriquing geomethric design, Anatolia or Mesopotamian, c. 4th.-3rd. millenium BC.

Interesting design of the seal, floral or perhaps female fertility forms, deeply engraved in the black serpentine stone. Looks a bit like some of the designs during Jemdet Nasr, which could date this seal to around 3300-2900 BC

Pendant of square shape, with a relief design representing two crowned characters kneeling in front of an altar surmounted by a circle containing an entity. Tiny loop at its top. Bronze, with reddish-green patina. Mesopotamia, ca. 2000 B.C. Height: 5.7 cm. Abrasion due to great age, otherwise good condition.

A fine large greenish stone stamp seal of the gable form, popular in Northern Mesopotamia and Anatolia in the Ubaid period.

The seal shows a snake with two cute archaic heads.

Condition: Nice Very fine, intact with even wear, especially around the drilled holes from wearing.

A scarce type in bronze with a tubular boddy and small loop at the top.

A nice larger terracotta fertility figure of female form, Bajaur (Indus Valley), c. 3000-2500 BC.

A hollow mould-made Indus Valley red terracotta statuette modelled in a stylised manner with applied facial features of birdlike form. Also with applied arms and beasts on the cone-shaped body.

Size: 14,5 cm. tall and 8 cm. wide.

Condition: Very fine for type, a few losses to the applications in antiquity, no modern repairs and with nice patina.

The amulet polished smooth in an nice green stone rectangular with a pierced handle and a piercing in the middle as well. The seals engraved with criss-cross and animals.
