The cylinder seal is carved in fine white-beige stone, and can be dated to Mesopotamia, Late Jemdet Nasr period, c. 3000-2900 BC. (Collon, period 1B).

The impressive seal is carved with 4 horned animals in very deep relief all the way around the thick cylinder.

Size: 30 mm. tall and 24 mm. wide.

Condition: Very fine, intact with some wear and corrosion and quite attractive.

Mosaic glass pendant in the shape of a bearded head, surmounted by a large loop for attachment to a necklace. Phenicia, or Carthage, archaic period, 350 to 200 B.C. Height: 6.1 cm. Barely visible old accident, superbly restored, otherwise very good condition. NOTE: similar pendants are shown in the Antique Glass Collection of the Louvre Museum in Paris. A very attractive saraboid seal, carved on the upper side with three section of grit-patterns, and on the seal base with a frontal stylized Rams head emblem, Anatolia, probably costal region, 2nd. millenium BC.

As a very precious material in antiquity, Lapis seals were expensive and thus scarcely seen today. This particular stone is in a very deep good color.

An attractive and substantial cylinder seal carved in blakc Haematite, Isin-Larsa period, Old Babylonian, ca. 2000 - 1800 BC.

The seal is carved with an introduction of the king to standing sun god with saw. Another worshipper or lesser deity is also depicted and there's and interesting large emblematic staff between them.

A stunning terracotta figure of Horse and Rider, Parthian Empire, 1st-3rd. cent. AD.

The tall bearded figure emerging from the body of the horse, wearing folded cap, the horse with applied disc eyes, traces of decoration. Their bodies is blending into a single, triangular form, with the head and upper body of the man directly behind the horse’s head. Finely detailed features of a mature Parthian horseman, probably nobility.
