Here's a rare type of ancient Bactrian battle axe, dating to 2nd mill BC.

The axe with outswaying edge. A massive ax in hand. The shaft hole is 2,4 cm - about an inch -in diameter. The socket 5,7 cm in height - 2,3 inches.

12,5 cm in length and the edge is 6 cm (5x2,5 inches).

Socket is finely decorated with geometric lines.

A choice ancient axe mostly uncleaned with encrustations and nice green and red patina. Will improve if cleaned properly...

A very important and highly interesting seal, Sassanian, 3rd.-4th. century AD.

Hemispheric shape, drilled with small hole of the early period. The seal carved in an attractive red Jaspis with the bust of a Prinsess or noble woman of the courth and a Pahlevi inscription.

A large Amlash / 'Luristan' tanged Bronze lance head dating to 1200-800 BC.

The lance with a leafshaped blade, a rectangular-sectioned midrib and gently curved shoulders. The tang is bend at the top.

Condition: A choice lancehead with azurite and green patina. Intact with some nicks and roughness to the edge.

A very important and beautiful larger pottery bowl with an extensive arabic inscription, Kashan area, ca. 12th.-13th. century AD.

Absolutely stunning conically shaped pottery bowl with polychrome decoration; Cobalt blue lines and green-yellow decoration on a cream-white ground. Symethrical motif in the center and near the rim a band of Arabic Caligraphy running all around the bowl, possible a recitation of verses of the Quran.
