A beautyful middle Assyrian cylinder seal, dating c. 1400-1200 BC.

The seal is carved with the rare image of this period of two figures (devinities standing either side of the Three of Life, behind them is two seated horned animals and above and beneath the animals, devine symbols.

A very rare massive cylinder seal, carved in shell, Mesopotamian, Early Dynastic and likely the later period III, ca. 2650-2350 BC.

The seal depicts a scene with large Reed, basket boat with a seated prominent person and boatsman likely with paddle (these figures olmost obliberated by a thin loss of material), and beneath three fishes are swimming. A tall person, perhaps Enki/Ea is seen steering or pushing the boat...

European bronzeage scythe blades (sicles) are fairly commenly sold on the market whereas sicles from the Near east or western asian bronzeage cultures are very scarce indeed...

Beautiful pottery dish with torquise glaze, black markings and a finely carved and decorated pattern, Seljug period, 11th.-12th. century, likely Kashan.

The Dish in an almost untouched state with fine silvery irridescence on the surface. Very beautiful colours.

Size: 17,4 cm. in diameter.

Condition: Choice and intact, a few places of missing glaze and usual markings from the making, but a very nice dish.
