A fine intact stone wig / separate hair, BACTRIA-MARGIANA COMPLEX, late 3RD- early 2ND mill B.C.

Separately made hair of green chlorite for a large composite stone figure. These have often lost their hair, since they were not tightly fixated and would have fallen off and cracked.

A very detailed and elaborate wig or hair carved with groves.

Rectangular seal, carved with an animal in the base and also finely decorated on the other side.

A rare and fine condition for type cylinder seal made in a piece of bone utilicing the original shape, carved with dynastic triangular patterns, Mesopotamian, c. 4th.-3rd. mill. BC.

A lovely eastern Anatolian stamp seal of a rectangular gable form, Eastern Anatolia, 4th. mill. BC.

The seal carved with animal on the base probably birds flying?.

Size: 41 mm. wide and 21 mm. tall, 7 mm. thick.

Condition: Nice VF, slight wear but attractive and with a sharp imprint.

A triangular stamp seal with handle, Western Mesopotamia, c. 3rd. millenium BC.

Very large for type and with an interesting two colour stone where the upperside is calsified white and the base is in the original brown stone. The seal is engraved with a reclining animal on it's base.

Size: 29 x 29 mm. 18 mm. tall.

Condition: Very fine, intact and very attractive, with much even wear.

A thick early Mesopotamian cylinder seal in white-grey marple, carved with a characteristic and significant design for the Period of Jemdet Nasr, 3200-2900 BC.

The Jemdet Nassr Period in seal manifacturing,3300-2900 BC, were spreading from Southern Mesopotamia, where a great number of administrative cuneiform tablets and seals came from. Such seals was used to impress pictures or descriptions into soft, prepared clay...

A large and well-preserved carved stone cylinder seal from the Pre-Dynastic period of Mesopotamia, c. 3rd. mill. BC.

The seal very sharp and engraved in redish stone with two humans or deities holding hands upside-down and strange multi-legged animal.

Interesting large bronze seal, engraved with something that looks like signs or numbers, could also really abstract, we're not certain. Mesopotamia, 3rd.-2nd. millenium BC.

Attractive blackstone cylinder seal, Eastern Anatolia, Hattite/Hittite period of the 2nd. millenium BC.

The seal depicts a large horned animal, probably an antilope, and a much smaller capride, Tree of Life as spacer. Interestingly, the seal is hollowed out perfectly to a high degree.

Size: c. 23 mm. tall and 12 mm. wide

Condition: Choice VF, Attractive with redish dessert patina in the devices.

Attractive blackstone cylinder seal, Eastern Anatolian or Western Mesopotamian, c. 3rd. millenium BC.

The seal was dated by a dealer to the Neo-Assyrian period, which we think is completely wrong. The depictions includes two tall figures, animals and a latter.

Size: 28 mm. and 8 mm thick.

Condition: Very fine, atttractive!.
