Lot includes a lovely finial of a bronze rooster with a scorpios tail (!), quite unusual and beautifully sculptured for the medium, redish patina and 8,3 cm. tall. Another stylized rooster finial in bronze 5,5 cm., both Islamic Khorassan style, ca. 10th.-12th. century AD and a very interesting intact clasp in bronze with a finely modelled Lions mask on the front, still wearable today, 5,5 cm.

A very rare and interesting amuletic cylinder seal with top loop, Western Mesopotamia, c. 2200-1600 BC.

The amulet seal is shaped as a tied knot of robe with a loop at the top, engravings on the sides. We have never had such a piece in stock, high unusual!

The large seal of the hemispheric form and probably Parthian or early Sasanian, so like 0-500 AD, could be earlier though.

Done in a fantastic stone type - black with a spiders web of lighter colours. Attractive in hand. The shape of this stamp seal was probably invented by the Neo-Babylonians and continuued to be made in the near east until the end of the Sasanian period. A large round or oval black stone stamp seal of the gable form, popular in Northern Mesopotamia and Anatolia in the Ubaid period, 4th. mill. BC.

Interesting and massive bronze ring with standing human on the Bezel, Amlash / South Caspian Sea area, c. early 2nd. millenium BC.

An unsually large ring for it's type. Normally these are decorated with applied patterns on a spiral - in this case the ringmaker also found space for a standing human figure with a weapon or a staff in his left hand, likely a mythical figure or a warrior. Lovely red and blue-green patina!
