This lot contains two ancient Roman arrowheads and are the legacy of the long period of Roman conflict in the region. While both of these arrowheads are similar their slight differences speak to the vast expanse of the Roman Empire and the variety of production centers they had at their disposal.

A fine pair of Roman bronze seal rings with engraved bezels, 1st.-3rd. century AD.
A fine pair of wearable rings, one with standing winged Lion, and the other with a springing lion engraved. Fine imprints.
Size: 19-20 mm. in ringsize, both with oval round bezels and high shoulders as typical for these male roman rings.
Condition: Nice, fine green patinas.

Early Roman Imperial Period silver mirror, ca. 1st to 2nd. century BC
Wonderful mirrow either solid silver or a very thick silver plating - we think it's solid silver with some cuprite oxidation on the surface. A very interesting piece and quite attractive!

Condition: Superb for type, should enhance if cleaned.

A small collection of four nice Roman to Byzantine bronze bells c. 2nd.-5th cent. AD.
The lot consist of a four bells in different shapes and sizes. The larger bell is quite beautiful and has XXX inscription on all four sides.
Sizes from 8 to 4,5 cm. (3,1 x 1,8 inches).
Condition: Choice bells with nice patinas. Three with a nice ringing sound to them.

Ancient Roman, circa. 1st - 3rd century A.D. Bronze bust of Jupiter. Depicted from the shoulders up, with well-defined facial details hair, eyes, thick beard and muscular neck and shoulders. Likely was part of a handle from a Roman vessel.
HEIGHT: 42 mm (1 5/8 inches).
CONDITION: Signs of usage and wear with nice olive-green glossy patina.

Relics of the Nile is pleased to present this quality bronze surgical instrument. The instrument was used as a probe and one end is grooved, which may have been used to hold sutures. There is a nice banded groove design toward the end and the bronze instrument has a lovely ancient olive patina. The instrument itself measures 6 5/8" in length. This comes beautify and professionally framed with a description plaque on the front. The frame size measures 11.25" x 9.25". Roman, Ca. 100 A.D.
