Exceptional bronze applique of a head of Dionysos with ivy wreath and with silver inlaid eyes, probably a furniture fitting, Roman, 2nd - 3rd century AD.

A large 4 sided jar in sea-green glass, having a wide ridged strap handle and folded lip. The base is decorated with a segmented circle in the center of which is another circle. Smaller circles are at each corner of the base. This is NOT a reproduction, but an original period piece.
The jar is in excellent condition, with no cracks, chips, or repairs. It is 9 1/2" tall, and 3 1/4" on each side of the square base.

GLASS FLASK
ROMAN PERIOD, 1st - 2nd Cent. AD
This lovely perfume vessel with beautiful patina has survived the centuries with its beauty intact.
The flattened body rising to a firm and graceful cylindrical neck with a rim folded outwards.
One of the earliest types of free blown-glass vessels in an elongated bottle with a short body and a long neck. The content of such bottles could be poured out slowly, in tiny drops, and the small mouth was easily stoppered...
Interesting and attractive gold Quatrefoil openwork pendant with small loop at one side and an engraved cross in the center, Roman-Darkage c. 4th.-6th. cent. BC.
A heavy hanger, very attractive. The gold is almost pure and around 22 carats or so. The central cross was deliberately erased at one point in antiquity, which could have been done by pagans / romans in the late antiquity.
Size: 19-20 mm. in diameter and weighing a solid 3.45 grams.

Another substantial Roman silver seal ring with a red carnelian intaglio, 1st.-3rd. cent AD
The ring a typical compressed Roman design and the carnelian stone engraved with a depiction of the Dioskouroi.
Size: c. 24 mm. wide and weighing 8.1 grams. The ring-size is c. 19 mm. x 16 mm., so it fits the typical ring-finger of a smaller male or a female hand.
Condition: Very fine, intact, but the stone was reset and there's chips to the silver-setting...
