A selection of different tools in greystone, diorite and perhaps jadeite, mainly small axe shapes for grinding spices and cosmetics.

An exceptional earthenware bowl with incised decoration in a white slip and painted in green and manganese in a yellowish glaze (Bamiyan type), afghanistan, 12th. century (Pre 1221 A.D.).

With carinated walls, pseudo-caligraphy and symethric decorations in high relief. As typical for the most boldest specimens, the green colours are sort of splashed on.

Appealing head of Eros rendered with girl-like features. The head with heavy-lidded eyes, a broad nose and sensuous lips. The richly curled hairdo falls down the left side of the head.
The young god has put his right arm over the head and may hold a flower (?) The button of a garment close to the neck.
Superb modeling with much use of the modeling tool.

Naked, pot-bellied satyr playing a double-aulos. Possibly the snapshot of a satyr play.
The artist stands narrow-legged, one shoulder slightly turned to his right, and wears a dummy belly and artificial genitals.
The prominent forehead with receding hairline, almond-shaped eyes, blown out cheeks, and a mighty upper lip. The hair reworked with modeling tool.
The back side with a slit-like vent hole. Made of two halves...

The rim is decorated with facing Oceanus heads alternating with fishes. The finely rendered heads show bushy beards extending to both sides and goat-like ears. The lobster claws expected in the hair of Oceanus are mistakenly rendered as ram horns, the usual attribute for Zeus Ammon.
Fine bowl on a low ring base, the floor with a concentric groove on the bottom, the flat rim with a fine groove around the outer edge.

Ancient Roman figure of a standing woman sculpted of terra cotta and with traces of slip pigment. In accordance with the fashion of the time, she is in the process of wrapping her breasts in a strophium, rolling the band of linen around her with her right hand while holding it in place with her left. Her lower body is draped in flowing robes tied at her hips. Her hair is appropriately styled and she wears earrings and a bracelet...

Massive bronze bracelet of elaborate ornamental shape with neatly joining ends.
Bronze was very expensive in antiquity and such ingot-shaped bracelets showed the wealth of the owner. The bracelet could be reused at any time to cast or forge other artifacts or weapons.

Faience ushabti for Horpenaset. Depicted mummiform, wearing a tripartite wig and beard. With pleasant, well defined, facial details, with arms crossed and hands emerging from tightly-fitted garment, hands holding hoes and seed sack behind the left shoulder. A T-shaped column of incised text at the front reads: "Illuminate the Osiris, Horpenaset, born of Asetshesen". 30th Dynasty, 365 -332 B.C. 4 3/8 inches high. Intact. Mounted. From an old New Jersey collection.

Bright blue faience shabti inscribed with black hieroglyphs reading: “The Osiris Nes-Mut”.
Curiously, the epithet Osiris is noted here in retrograde writing in relation to the name.
The figurine wears a tripartite wig with a frontal band tied at the back. The face shows barely visible eyes and eyebrows. The arms are crossed and the hands hold two colored hoes. The seed bag behind is held by straps...

Hand-modeled stand with antithetically arranged bull heads on top. Pinched muzzles and dewlaps, the eyes pierced. Horns chipped.

Massive faiance figure in the shape of a fish, 19th. dynasty, 1292-1203 BC.

A museum quality sculpture of a Tilapia nilotica fish which is commonly found in the Nile River. This fish was greatly loved by the ancient Egyptians and it was used as a decorative motif on a variety of materials including stone, ceramics and glass. Here the fish has been fully finished with its green glaze covering touched with black pigment depicting eyes and other details.
