Diameter approximately 2.75 inches, this antique chinese mirror may have originally had silvered surface on reflective side...brought to the US 1920-1930 by missionary Rebecca Cloud-Stewart..deterioration of metal surfaces as expected.

The bottom has a double ring and Kangxi period mark, as well as a sticker verifying the age of the piece from the Chait Galleries museum in New York. Antique Chinese robe made from beautiful red silk with auspicious designs of clouds, its interior lined in light blue silk. Its sleeves, collar, and bottom are lined in deep blue silk, with gold thread butterflies and flowers, and bordered with pink, white, yellow, and green auspicious motifs with a blue background. The back of the robe features a large bulb-eyed goldfish at its top and along its bottom are several birds done in coiled, gold thread. Size: 37" height, 62.5" width

Wonderfully made Chinese Statue of the mythical diety Zhong Kui. Zhong Kui was seen as many symbols including, protector of evil spirits, expeller of demons plague, and protects homes with male children. Zhong Kui is posing triumphantly with sword in hand, and a bat in the other. His foot is resting on a demon he commands. Incredible detail in the folds of his clothing, face and body of both Zhong Kui and demon. Five bats outline chinese symbol on his chest...

A Brown Glaze Sung Dynasty Jar with four ears. There is expected wear to the glaze. Interestingly, the jar was flawed during it's manufacture with slumping / denting to the clay in its lower portion and which is noticeable in images. Diameter: 6.50 inches; Height 6.50 inches.
