Length, about 4 1/2 inches from end of the dog's looped tail to tip of its nose (doesn't include any additional extension when the key is inserted)

DESCRIPTION: An attractive oval brass box, the hinged lid decorated with a carved carnelian stone at the center with raised brass leaves on either side. Signed at the interior lid, such a box might have been used for snuff, jewelry, cosmetics or medicines. This attractive little box is in excellent condition and dates from the first quarter of the 20th C. DIMENSIONS: 2 ¼” long (5.7 cm) x 1 1/8” wide (2.9 cm) x 1” high (2.5 cm).
Chinese etched and carved design of Double Gourd and leaves in the background Brass Lock and heavy Key, Ca. early 1900, 2 3/4" wide, 1 3/4" high, 3/4" deep(outside measurement), 1 3/8" wide(inside opening), hole is less 1/8" diameter round, in working condition, polished with many years of usage naturally original condition, some areas are stained and dark. This lock and key was found in Yunnan Providence in China.
Chinese Brass Lock and Key with signature, early 1900, 2 3/4" wide and 1 3/8" deep(outside measurement), 1 1/8" wide(inside measurement), stick is 3/16" less than 1/8" diameter round, sort of 3 dimentional shape, in good working condition. There are some interesting embossed and inscribed Chinese design under the old stained Brass in original condition. Thick and large size of the key is very decorative.

Gracefully cast with head bent toward the ground, ears forward and with a friendly expression The oval shaped top portion of his saddle is removable and has a pierced design on the seat where the incense smoke would have escaped. This is further emphasized by the cast design of swirling smoke on the horses saddle cloth.

Antique Chinese bronze censer with oval form body, high neck and rounded rectangular mouth. Standing on four feet with heads of mythical creatures. A band with a swirling motif in low relief encircles the middle of the censer. The neck of the censer is also decorated with a wave motif in a band of low relief. The lid is pierced for incense smoke and topped with a sitting Qilin.

Antique Chinese bronze water dropper in the form of a crawling baby. Cast in bronze with details of traditional baby clothing tied at the back of the neck. The baby crawls forward with one leg slightly bent, elbows on the ground and face forward. When submerged, water would have flowed into the dropper through he hole in the baby's back. Water could then be dropped out of the baby's mouth as needed to mix ink.
