Two Tibetan stem platters for ritual offerings, made from hardwood with metal sheet. The center decorated with a wheel, one of the eight Buddhist Symbols. Torma are cone shaped ritual food offerings sculpted in a variety of shapes and sizes, mostly made of flour and butter. Condition: traces of usage, one piece with an old repair (was broken in two). Dimension: diameter: c. 19 cm, height: 6 cm and 7.3 cm, weight: 1200 g.
An exceptionally large and heavy bronze figure of Radha, Wife of Krishna, VAishnava Devotional og Bhakti traditions of Hinduism, 16th.-17th. century AD.
Very attractive figure of solid bronze with no core, Radha is in a standing posture with her arms, protruding round breasts, semi-nude addorned with jevellery.
Height 27 cm. excl. the wooden base. The weight is more than 3 kilograms!

A very rare and early example with its original polychrome and clear traces of long time use. Note the glossy patina on the back of the mask. Antique Indian bronze figure the Goddess Durga, she is seated with her lion mount depicted very small by her right leg, she wears a tall crown, her forehead is burnished from reverent touch over the years, her attributes which she hold in four hands include a sword and a club, she sits on a square base with an ornate nimbus of makara heads and naga canopy, Southern India, 19th century.

This patchwork cloth is assembled from Chinese silks dating from the 13-14th century, and was probably assembled about a century later. These types of cloth were used primarily in ceremonial canopies and altar cloths.

A newly made 18K. Gold (750) Ring set with an ancient genuine Cabochon Garnet BACTRIAN INTAGLIO carved by hand, depicting a bearded, seated Angel playing a Lyra. Very fine detailed carving. Provenance: Afghanistan, dated 1-2 Century B.C. Good condition overall. Intaglio size: 14 x 12 x 4 mm. Ring size: 62 (10). This is a fine example of an Indus Valley culture decorated pottery vessel. It has a chip to the rim as well as a repair which should be visible in the photos. Otherwise it appears to be in great condition with no other apparent damage or repair. It is roughly 16 cm tall and 13 cm wide.
Antique thangka painting with Buddha seated high above and also ascending from a heavenly realm. A palace below with many llamas and attendants. An altar is spread with auspicious objects. At the very bottom of the scene, figures relax in palace rooms flanking a garden. Painted in mineral colors on cotton.

Antique Indian carving of Vishnu and Lakshmi. Vishnu is identified by his tall crown and club. His wife, Lakshmi is seated on his left knee. Carved of a hard black/green stone. Beautifully worn smooth and with traces of vermillion from it's use as a votive sculpture. This piece is very powerful.

This well-painted 19th century thangka depicts a three-headed tantric "Heruka" in "yab-yum" with his shakti. The figure is probably Vajrakila heruka, although I leave it to the more knowledgeable ones among you to decide the identity. The painting measures 10" X 13" and is free of any restoration or re-painting. In need of a cleaning.
