This very well carved and colored Japanese polychrome ivory carving of a Chinese style lady is a mid or late 19th century product. It depicts a lady who wears a simple but elegant elaborate silk robe. She holds a peony blossom in her left hand and a fan in her right hand. It is 8 ½” high and 2” wide from the round base. It has very nice patina. Aside from two slight crack lines on her face and upper left arm, it is in very good condition...

Japanese silver wire cloisonne vase. Green, aubergine, coral, violet, white, yellow, dark blue and black enamel decoration of bird and flowers all on a light blue enamel background. Two faint, tight hairlines (in the blue enamel background) issue each about a half inch from different petals of the topmost peony blossom decoration, otherwise good. Height 7 1/4 inches (18.42 cm)
This adorable antique Japanese Sumida Gawa vase has turned iron-red body, neck covered with a glaze of various shades of grey, green and black dripping down the shoulder and into the mouth. With children carrying a Buddhist drum and seated on the side of the vase. This piece is signed on a glazed plaque on side.
Condition: The vase is in good overall condition. As the photos show there is minor old damage; one of child's hand is missing and there is a crack on the body...
