Korean Very Fine Small Wood Coin Chest: Korea, Joseon Period, 19th Century, with an original lock (Key missing)
This small wood coin chest is a very heavy hard wood used, and unusually
the chest was not used hinges for its joints at all, was just used wood cut lock-in joints,
and this chest has also beautiful wood grains and old natural patina all over the surfaces.
It is rectangular form, fitted with thin iron mounts and circular lockplate
with hasp, and with an original lock(key missing...

Antique Korean herbalist's medicine chest. Standing on low feet, this chest has 51 drawers and a small compartment at the very bottom opened by sliders. Each drawer is labeled in Korean and has a small metal ring for a drawer pull. The inside of the drawers are divided into two sections.
