Very rare bronze AVA Buddhist Sculpture with Nimbus,17th Century, Burma, with naturally formed verdigris patina. The nimbus (halo of light) is a strong characteristic of the Ava style. An Indonesian wooden theater mask, showing the monkey god Hanuman, a popular Hindu deity also found in Buddhism and Jainism. Reverse with two old lables. Condition: little wear. Dimension: c. 20 cm x 15 cm x 9.2 cm.

This is one of the earliest and rarest original types of vases made in Vietnam. It has a rich chocolate brown glaze with beautiful drippings going down to the base. Attractive small 19th Century Thai Rattanakosin Buddha seated in deep meditation (Virasana) on a stepped throne. The Unisa or flame above the head symbolizes attainment of Nirvana or is indicative of supreme knowledge. Very good condition. Size: H. 2.5" x W. 1.5" x D. 1"

Bronze 10 tical opium Toe weight with lovely patina, ca. 1750-1776 AD.

Lovely early version of the Toe type with the elavated tail and with four instead of the usual three spikes, with a octagonal base engraved with concenthric lines and fine details to the cast.
