Antique Japanese okimono gilt bronze rooster crafted in the shokado method of casting comprised of bronze, gold, and silver. The cockerel's feathered body is finely chased and carved, delineating each feather with gilding and blackened patinated silver this is infused into the finish.

Antique Chinese bronze fu dog incenser. He is sculpted with great detailing, his head points up with mouth open so that smoke billows from it. The head opens by a hinge to place incense within, and the interior shows old natural patina.

Ko-Imari (early Imari ware) saba-choko produced in Arita in Saga prefecture in late Edo or Meiji period. Soba-choko was used for food in older days, but it became used also for soba soup in which soba to be dipped later. The ko-imari were exported from Imari port so that it is called Imari ware. This one was made in late Edo to Meiji period (19th century) with hand-drawn yabane (plume) pattern. In excellent condition except for the original flaws from the kiln. Diameter:7.5cm H:5.5cm

Stunning Chinese round hardwood table with beautiful marble inset top, set with 6 matching stools. The outer edges of the table are carved with a scrolling vine motif with grapes, below are carved panels with a larger carving of the same motif but with a pair of squirrels on either side of the central grape cluster. The feet are carved with large grape leaves. Republic period circa 1940s
