Finely executed early 20th century miniature bronze figure of a young boy holding giant boot, 4 1/4 inches high and in great condition.

This old Chinese necklace is from either the Dong or Miao minority group. The central medallion is domed on the front and flat on the back. The weight of the medallion indicates that it is hollow. It depicts a minority style dragon from minority legend. With the assortment of items dangling, the necklace is reminiscent of a chatelaine.

This late 19th century reverse glass painting is 13” x 19 ½” (20 ½” x 26 ¾” including frame). It depicts two birds surrounded by a rock garden, peony and plum blossoms. The translation of the calligraphy is: “Seeking refuge to escape the tyranny of the times; seeing those beautiful blossoms, it seems spring has begun the new year.” One of the signature seals on the top reads “Shao Xi;” this is the name of the artist. Antique Chinese skirt with green velvet panels embroidered with images of flowers and bats. It is very unusual to find these skirts with velvet panels. Measuring 39 inches long, it is in good used condition. There is some staining (water marks?)on silk areas, embroidered velvet panels in very good condition with the exception of one tear about 3" that can be easily repaired. Wear at hem border ribbon.
