George I style sterling silver sugar caster, London, 1908, manufactured by the Gold and Silversmiths Company Ltd., of octagonal baluster form and with an intricately pierced top. Size: 6.5 inches ht. Weight - 4 troy ounces. Condition: very good, no monogram, with only a tiny ding to body (see photo detail), no wobble, stamped with a complete set of matching hallmarks on the body and on the cover and with manufacturer's full name struck on underside of base.

Description:

A beautiful Qingbai porcelaneous set of cup and cupstand was found in original condition.
In characteristic greenish tint in the glaze, the ware was revealed with chalk-feel bodyclay underside.
The firing effects were yielded on the body clay.
They were preserved in perfect condition.
Some similar pieces were in the documentations.

Intricately inlaid mosaic sterling silver and chrysocolla yin yang hands necklace designed and signed by American/Taxco, Mexico artist William Spratling. Dating from the 1950's the necklace measures 17 1/2 inches long. The crossed hands pendant measures 5 1/8" inches across and 3 inches from the bottom of the design to the top of the silver loop.
