This is a set of small but very unique Keshi bina musician dolls or they may be called as Kawari bina (different or strange looking). By placing them casually, you can create an interesting group. Carved on the nob with motif of a crouching Chi-long, this jade was deliberately dyed black in part with traditional skills(Lao-ti-yuo) which was commonly used in Chinese old jades. With greasy slippery feel, this old jade was most likely being fastened under Chinese scholar's clothing and caressed within palms instead of being considered as a seal material...
